Various types of hormones are released and utilized in the human body. These include oxytocin, anti-diuretic hormone, thyrotrophic hormone, prolactin and some others with more complex names as per the medical terminology. These are produced from different parts of the human body and their balance with respect to the amounts produced is very important.

One of the important hormones is the growth hormone commonly known as the HGH which is the abbreviated form of high growth hormone. This hormone is produced in a specific gland in the brain called as the pituitary gland. It is a primary hormone, that is, it is one of the most important hormones and is related to the vitality and energy in youth. It is a very important hormone for people less than thirty years of age. This is because after this age, the production of this hormone starts to reduce and this constitutes one of the reasons as to why people start to age gradually.
